Care Instructions
To keep your ceramics in their best condition, wash by hand and avoid extreme temperature changes (from hot to cold, cold to hot) is recommended.
If your item includes hand-sculpted features that protrude (such as ears, snout / nose, arms, tail), please note that these areas are fragile. Please use caution and handle gently.
Pre-Orders & Custom Commissions
Each piece is handmade from start to finish and goes through multiple stages—wheel throwing, drying, trimming, sculpting, glazing, and firing. Because I work in a community ceramic studio, timing may vary depending on kiln availability and studio scheduling.
Typically, pieces take up to 4 months to complete. Custom orders or more complex designs may take longer.
If there are any issues that impact the order timeline, please note that your order may be delayed. I will be sure to communicate any changes and updates along the way.
Commissions are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out with your ideas and reference photos, and we’ll discuss what’s possible.
Shipping & Handling
I carefully package each piece to ensure it arrives safely. Orders typically ship within 1 to 2 weeks, and international shipping is available (please note that customs fees or delays may apply).
Once your order is shipped, it is in the hands of the postal carrier and out of my control. I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages. That said, if you run into any issues, please feel free to reach out and I'm happy to help however I can.
If your item arrives damaged or broken, please email kuurimii@gmail.com with photos within 3 days of delivery so we can discuss a solution.
Depending on inventory and availability, please keep in mind that the replacement will require extra time to recreate and not all ceramic pieces are exactly the same, as each piece is handmade with care.
Returns & Exchanges
Due to the handmade and unique nature of each piece, I do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds. If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 3 days of delivery at kuurimii@gmail.com so I can assist.
Lost Packages
Kuurimi is not responsible for lost packages. Once an order has been handed over to the carrier and a tracking number has been provided, delivery falls under the responsibilities of the third-party delivery service (UPS, USPS).
If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier but you have not received it, we advise you to:
- Confirm delivery at your address, nearby locations, or with members of your household.
- Contact your local delivery service directly with your tracking number to resolve any delivery issues.
Please be advised that:
- I am not liable for packages that are lost, misplaced, or stolen after delivery confirmation by the carrier.

All delivery disputes must be addressed directly with the carrier. I do not provide refunds or replacements for orders marked as delivered in cases where delivery confirmation has been documented by the delivery service.
- If you believe your package has been lost in transit and delivery has not been confirmed, please contact me within 14 days of the expected delivery date. I will do my best to resolve the matter and pursue a claim with the delivery service on your behalf.
Social Media Usage
By placing an order with my store, you acknowledge and agree that the reference photos, if any, and first name you provide may be used for social media content (including, but not limited to, photography, video, captions, and voiceovers). Such content may include images of the provided reference photos, alongside the finished ceramic piece, as well as the use of your first name.
No other identifying information will be shared.
If you do not wish for your reference photos or first name to be used for social media purposes, you must notify me by email at kuurimii@gmail.com.
